The minimum age to participate: 10 years old

Upon successfully completing all course requirements, the client’s certification will be processed and their open water diver card will be delivered to the address that they provide.

The cost of registration for the eLearning Open Water Diver Course Online IS NOT included. Must be done directly to PADI.

Students must affiliate with Pure Ocean Samoa when registering for the PADI eLearning course. Our dive Centre number is S-25521. Students must have completed all eLearning requirements prior to beginning the practical side of the course.

Students must be medically clear to dive and have completed a brief scuba medical form, which they can either download online or can be sent to them. We strongly advise that the student completes this before registering for eLearning. If they answer yes to any of the questions on the form, they are required to be cleared by a doctor. The doctor must also fill out and sign the clearance form which we can send them or it can be obtained via online from PADI.

Students are responsible for providing their own Scuba Diving insurance. It is not a requirement to have insurance, but it is always recommended to cover all eventualities.

We will make every effort to complete their training within the time available, however we cannot be held responsible for the weather, and if for any reason they are unable to complete the course they will be issued with a copy of their training record and a partial refund commensurate with what percentage of the course is completed. In these circumstances they would have 12 months to complete the remainder of their course at any other PADI Dive Centre at their cost. It is also the student’s responsibility to make themselves available for training and be aware of the time required for the course. Failure to do so can mean that the course cannot be completed in the time available.

All students must complete all of the course requirements to achieve certification. Skills can be adapted to cater for people who have physical limitations but they must still complete the requirements.

6 &10 DIVING CONDITIONS

Requirements: min PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent, minimum 10 yrs & above
The 6 dives package is per person and the 10 dives package can be shared between two people( 10 dives = 5 per person).  All who participate need to be named on the booking and are subject to the same age and cert. requirement as above. Dives are not transferable to other types of diving and are for certified divers only. Package deal includes the cost of the dive and boat trip to local dive sites

What is not included:
The cost for equipment is not included and is charged per item required. The fuel surcharge for diving on Manono and Apolima is not included. Please contact Pure Ocean for equipment and fuel surcharge prices. Divers are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate medical and travel insurance to cover emergencies.
