Top instagram spots in Samoa

If you’re looking for some Top Instagram Spots in Samoa – This-is-your-bible.

Honestly, I ain’t even gonna lie about it. Instagram is life. I low-key pick my places of travel according to its uniqueness, just so I can Instagram it (I know sad right?). As they say ‘Do it for the gram’, and that is what I do. Getting that picture-perfect snap is a lot of work – but if you’re travelling or living in Samoa – it isn’t hard to snag one up. If there is one thing that Instagram lovers want more than anything is ‘uniqueness’ – and Samoa is a gold mine for that.

Below are some of the Top Instagram Spots in Samoa:

Lupesina Treesort

LUPESINA TREESORT, UPOLU

Lupesina Treesort

Who doesn’t love a treehouse? It’s all I’ve ever dreamed about as a little boy. I remember at primary school when my mates and I use to take cardboard from home and create a mini-house on the tree near the field. However, the dream was short-lived when the rain fell. Here in Samoa, the inner childhood dream is brought to life. Lupesina Treesort features two bedrooms, one the requires you to climb up a ladder (Inner childhood bursting out), and two balconies with spectacular views. Double tap that!

PIULA CAVEPOOL, UPOLU

Piula Caves
I mean do I really need to write anything about this place? It screams Instagram! Piula’s fresh water cave is hidden underneath the Piula Theological College. Dive into the fresh water and swim amongst the fish and eels. For the more adventurous ones, swim into the cave and find the tunnel that leads you to another cave. Brb, I’m off to Piula. #instagood

TO SUA TRENCH, UPOLU

To Sua Trench
It is the perfect spot for all those Instagram lovers (and you won’t even need to double filter this). To-Sua Trench literally translate to a giant swimming hole. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, jump from the top or swim into an underwater tunnel that leads you out to sea.

FALEALUPO CANOPY WALKWAY, SAVAI’I

Canopy Walkway Savai'i

Just when I thought my childhood dream of a treehouse ended at Lupesina Treesort, I found out about the canopy walkway in Savaii (que inner childhood screams). Surrounded by lush green leaves is the stairway to tree heaven. The Canopy Walkway is 40 metres above the ground amongst giant Banyan Trees. If you’ve ever dreamed of swinging from tree to tree like Tarzan, this is probably the closest you will get. A perfect destination to snag up some double taps on your gram.

LALOMANU BEACH, UPOLU

Lalomanu Beach
What is an Island without crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches? Definitely not Samoa. Lalomanu is the go-to spot if you’re after an insta-worthy snap. It features open fales you can relax in after a refreshing swim. A perfect spot to capture the uniqueness of Samoa.

ALOFAAGA BLOWHOLES, SAVAI’I

This place is mind-blowing (you see what I did there?), literally and figuratively speaking. The Alofaaga blowholes is in the village of Taga, South-west of Savai’i. The forces of these blowholes are so strong it can throw a coconut several metres into the air. I wouldn’t even dare trying to get into one of those holes, but I would definitely recommend taking some stunning Instagram photos like these cool cats! A great place to snap up an insta and blow away your followers (pun intended)

THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF MARY CATHEDRAL, UPOLU

Even if you’re not a church person, it is still a must see place. The Cathedral’s architecture is out-of-this-world. Be memorised by the marble floors, the intricate detailed walls, or the blend of culture and religion. The history of evangelism is ever so present on the walls. Located in town, this is a place of peace. As you walk- in, the outside hustle and bustle noise of town is drowned out by the stunning views. It deserves all the Instagram love it can endure.

Samoa is like a diamond at its discovery stages – rough and rugged but filled with beauty.  It is rich in natural wonders and culture. There are so many more undiscovered places and things to Instagram, however the above are just the top must see spots.

If you’re ready for an adventure unlike any other and to explore a whole new world, Samoa is your destination.
