Fishing

Le Vasa is located in the heart of fishing territory. Sport fishing, big game fishing and fly fishing are all available just a short boat ride away from the resort. Boats are available for chartering at half-day and full-day rates.

To access the really big game that Samoa has to offer, reserve the 35-foot Bertram for an adventure that’s sure to be memorable.

If an up close and personal experience of Samoan fishing action is what you are looking for, book our 17-foot center console. She will get you into spots that big boats can’t go, allowing access to Samoa’s plentiful shallow reefs and lagoons.

We also offer fishing tours to the other parts of Upolu, as well as to the islands of Manono, Apolima and Savai’i.

Scuba

Even if you have never dived before you can discover the wonders of the deep in one of the most pristine and unspoiled underwater environments of the world. You will see dolphins, turtles, tuna and rays as well as plenty of tropical fish and striking coral.

With both PADI and CMAS certifications, our instructors have over 25 years international diving experience. Your well being and safety is our utmost priority. Their professional skills combined with the very best and latest equipment guarantee you a carefree and rewarding diving adventure.

Come and explore some of the newest dive sites in the world in a unique diving location where there are no other boats or divers around, just you, the abundant marine life and a variety of fantastic underwater scenery!

We offer numerous dive packages and tours for certified divers, as well as courses for beginners. All equipment and refreshments are supplied.

Discovery Dive
The best way to discover diving is the Discovery Dive which includes two ocean dives and one theory and basic training session in the pool.

PADI Open Water Diver
This is a full PADI certification. You need at least three days to experience this intense adventure.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
You choose from a range of PADI adventure dives such as night dives, naturalist dive, boat dives and more. You will complete one deep water dive and one navigation dive. This course can be free with a package of five or more dives.

Explorer Dives
Please inquire about our Explorer dives, and go where no diver has gone before.

Nitrox Dives
NITROX dives are available.

Snorkeling

We offer basic snorkeling trips to the reef outside our resort, perfect for the beginner or someone just getting back into the swing of things.

We also offer guided snorkeling trips around the island of Upolu and in combination with a trip to Manono right off our coast and points beyond. Take a boat trip through a beautiful turquoise lagoon and snorkel amongst some of the most untouched coral and colorful fish life in the world.

Kayaking

We offer guided trips to the island of Manono as well as many other locations.  Snorkeling equipment and lunch are included in each of our guided kayak tours.

You are also welcome to go off on your own to explore some of the areas around the resort and off the coast.

Just for Fun

Le Vasa offers a variety of motorized water sports for the action enthusiast in the pristine environment and dazzling blue waters of Samoa. These activities are located just a few short miles away from the resort to preserve the peaceful quality of our resort.

Go for a run on one of our Wave Runners, jump the boat wake on a water ski or knee board, or try your hand at a few tricks on the wake board. You will experience a breathtaking ride atop the South Pacific's turquoise lagoons as you challenge yourself with this assortment of these exhilarating activities. We also offer catamarans and pedal boats for you to enjoy.
