Island tours

Le Vasa Resort offers trips to the capital harbor city of Apia, including a visit to the open air market and the sliding rocks. You will also have time on your own to shop and enjoy a meal at a local restaurant. We happily recommend Bistro Tatau.

Take in a scenic trip around the island of Upolu. Half day and full day trips are available and can be designed to meet your own unique interests. Attractions include a visit to Robert Louis Stevenson’s Plantation, Tanumapua Tropical Plantation, a visit to the famous Vailima Brewery to enjoy a cold glass of beer, or view one or more of the beautiful waterfalls on the island. The choice is yours. The pleasure is all ours.

If you prefer privacy, allow us to arrange a romantic picnic just for two on a private beach, complete with your own waiter. Please inquire when making your reservation or speak with the concierge upon arrival.

Golf

Samoa offers three golf courses to choose from for your leisurely pleasure.

Le Penina is the newest golf course in Samoa and is just six miles up the road from Le Vasa Resort. The first nine of eighteen holes has just opened and is waiting for you to test it out.

Faleata Country Club offers a championship golf course set just slightly inland on the gentle slopes of the mountains providing beautiful ocean views.

The Royal Samoa Golf Course is a world-class 18-hole golf course located just east of Apia. The course features beautiful mountain and coastal views and offers caddies for hire, carts, a pro shop on premises and a driving range. Please arrange with our concierge or inquire when making reservations.
