Fishing at Le Vasa Resort 

 

Le Vasa is located in the heart of fishing territory. Sport fishing, big game fishing, and fly fishing are all available just a short boat ride away from the resort.

Boats are available for chartering at 2 hours minimum, half-day and full day rates. Our Centre console boat is outfitted with top-of-the-line Shimano rods and reels, GPS systems, black pete lures and an entertainment system. Charters includes 2 drinks per person and a sandwich is provided on full day tours only. 
Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar.

 

Charter Rates:

 

17-foot centre console: inside the reef only
$550 WST / 2 hours
$950 WST / 4 hours half-day
Rates are based on up to 2 persons.

24-foot centre console: Fiji Islander
$650 WST / 2 hours
$1200 WST / 4 hours half-day
Rates are based on up to 2 persons, extra persons are charged at 100 WST pp
 Maximum of 5 persons.

Traditional Samoan-styled fishing:

Net Casting: $60 WST / 1 hour
Net Fishing: $60 WST / 1 hour

Shore Casting

Le Vasa offers some of the best lagoon shore casting to be found on the island. Rates: Casting rods, lures & one portion bait: 
$15 WST / hour

Bucket o ‘ Beer & Bucket o’ Bait  

$125 WST / 8 hours

Experience fishing in a whole new way. You’ll be outfitted with a fishing rod, bait, a weight, a hook and a bucket of five local beers. Set up your line in the water while you sip a cold beer.
