Le Vasa Resort Policies

Payment: 1 night's bookings the full amount is charged at time of reservation and is 100% non-refundable.

For all other bookings 50% deposit is charged at time of reservation and is 100% non-refundable. Balance is due 14 days before arrival.

Once a booking has been confirmed, rates will not be altered if specials or price changes occur, tariffs are subject to change without any prior notice. All online prices are cash rates and are inclusive of VAGST. Paying by credit or debit card 4% bank fees will apply.

Specials

Specials on the Le Vasa Resort website are exclusive for customers booking direct with the resort ONLY. Specials are only valid with the minimum number of nights listed and are not combinable with other specials.  All Rates and Package Specials listed are available for a limited time only. The specials can change daily, in order to guarantee the price be sure to book once specials are available. Check with reservations for Specials or pacakge deals not listed. Please note additional nights that are not offered with specials will be charged at regular rates listed on the Le Vasa Resort website.

Transfers

Book Transfers: Faleolo Airport and Mulifanua Wharf (prices are based on a one way transfer only). Please contact us with your arrival and departure times to make arrangements for transfers.

Mulifanua Transfers: Mulifanua Wharf $30 ST for 1 to 2 people extra persons $5 ST each.     

Sheraton Wharf Transfers: Sheraton Wharf $30 ST for 1 to 2 people extra persons $5 ST each.

Airport Transfers: Faleolo International Airport $50 ST for 1 to 2 people extra persons $10 ST each.

On the website you can pre book and pay for transfers in the booking extras when you book your reservation online. Please send arrival or departure details in the comments section of your booking. Be sure to include flight number, exact times and dates. Please confirm your arrival date and time the day before your stay.

Dietary Requirements & Policies

Please inform reservations prior to arrival if you have any dietary requirements or special needs so that we may notify the staff and make arrangements to shop for specialty items. Meals plans prices can be viewed on the Dining page.  Food Allergies - Our menus contains allergens and is prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, shellfish, gluten. Whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate guest dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food will be completely allergen free.  Guests should inform their food allergies or needs on arrival and at each meal service to better protect themselves against any possible issues that can arise.

Travel Advisory

Guests are advised to liaise with their respective Consulate / Embassy. If they have any concerns about travel to Samoa.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or communications regarding any changes of your booking must be forwarded to the resort in writing by email and must be acknowledged by Le Vasa Resort with a return confirmation in writing via email.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance for all visitors, to cover cancellation penalties levied as a result of inclement weather, airline or other transportation delays, unforeseen disruptions, cancellations or in the event of illness or any unforeseen circumstances.

Note, a change of booking or shortening your stay is considered as a cancellation— no refund will be provided if you choose to arrive later, depart earlier, or other than indicated in the original confirmed booking. No Shows the full amount of stay 100% will not be eligible for any refund. Complaints do not constitute a refund any issues that may arise must be discussed with a manager at the resort and time given to reasonably address.

  • 1 night's booking is charged at time of reservation and is 100% non-refundable.
  • Bookings for 2 nights or more 50% is charged at time of reservation and is 100% non-refundable.
  • 30-21 days 50%, 21 days 100%, nil refund.
  • 21 days prior to guest’s arrival the balance owing will be automatically charged to guests credit card plus 4% bank fee.
  •  The Resort will not bare fees nor be responsible for any fees due to a cancellation.  We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for any unforseen circumstances.

Child Policy

Children are welcome year round.  Children 5 years and over extra child person charge applies. Children 12 years and above are charged as an adult.  For infants or a complimentary child, their meals can be purchased off the a la carte menu.

Due to accessibility to water of ocean front bungalows, a nonfenced pool and no lifeguards  on duty on the property at any time. Le Vasa Resort accepts No liability for any loss or injury. Please Note ** parents they are responsible for their children's safety at all times. It is the responsibility of the Parents or accompanying adults to supervise their children whilst in pool and ocean areas. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Terms & Conditions

Early check in:

Must be arranged in advance, booked and confirmed by email for a staff member to greet guests prior to 8 am. Early arrivals are recommended to book from the night before to guarantee access to the room upon arrival, which is subject to availability. It is required for Guests who arrive prior to 5 am must book from the night before. Guests that arrive after 6 am can wait in media room until their room is available at 2 pm.  If guests wish to check in early, before 9:00 a.m. a full night will be charged prior to arrival.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to room availability only and early check in or check out fee will apply ask reception.

Swim suits only in Swimming pool strictly enforced, penalties apply.

All direct tariffs posted online are Cash rates must be paid in cash. If you pay by credit card you will incur a bank fee of 4%. 

Third Party Bookings: Le Vasa Resort will not take responsibility for any inaccurate information or terms & conditions posted on any OTA’s or Wholesaler websites without prior approval.

Check in: procedure a copy of passport and credit card required, so that you are able to charge meals and activities to your room. If you do not have a credit card then your passport and cash bond of $300 ST is held until departure. 

All other charges incurred with us must be settled in full by cash or credit card prior to your departure.  If you are departing before 9am please make arrangements to settle your account by 5pm on the day prior to your departure.

Terms & Conditions for Wedding Packages

Packages are based on per couple; extra persons will have additional venue costs. Weddings with more than 2 persons must make a 50% deposit on venue when booking to save the date. If a Wedding party wants exclusivity they must book out entire resort for a minimum of 3 nights.                    

Cancellation policy: Deposits for Wedding Packages are Non-refundable to secure the date. If wedding date is shifted due to un-forseen circumstances deposit on venue can be reused within 12 months from the date of booking. We must receive your cancellation request in writing. The date we acknowledge receipt is the date of the cancellation.                                                                                                                                                                                    

Group Bookings Cancellation Policy  (Booking  5 rooms or more)                                                             

1 night's booking is charged at time of reservation and is non refundable.

2  or more nights stay                  
45 days – 50% of stay
44-30 days – 75% of stay 
Less than 30 days – 100% of stay                                                                                                             

Balance due for accommodation as per time schedule of cancellation policy when booking out multiple rooms.

Renovations

The Resort reserves the right to close any part of its facilities and to carry out repairs, renovations and upgrades to the Resort from time to time and at any time as it deems fit in its absolute discretion.

Personal Conduct

We reserve the right to end your occupancy without notice in the event that you fail to respect the rights of our staff and other guests,  No refund will be given in such situations.

Exclusion of Risk and Liability

It is agreed that the Resort and the Resort Company shall not be liable to any other person for any loss, damage, liability, expenses or costs suffered or incurred by the Wholesaler or any member of any booking(s), including any loss, damages, liability, expenses and costs arising from any loss of, damage to or theft of property, unless such loss, damage, liability, expenses and costs resulted directly from the gross negligence or willful default of the Resort.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will we be liable for any direct, indirect or significant loss, damage, injury, accident, death or expense, whether caused by our fault or negligence of that of our employees or agents or otherwise.  This includes (but is not limited to):

a)            The loss of or damage to property, including to any motor vehicle;

b)            Personal injury or loss of life;

c)            Liability you may incur to third parties;

d)            Loss of deposits and loss of income;

e)            The cost of medical treatment.

In addition, you acknowledge that if you or your guests participate in any water sports or water activities that are available to you during your stay you do so entirely at your own risk (whether a fee has been charged or not).  You accept that all water activities can be dangerous and agree that the exclusion set out above applies to the same.

Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of Samoa.  Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Samoa.
